The course informs the students about history of Western Europe between the Wars, primarily about political history. The lectures will deal with the most important events and moments of the years 1918-1939 - Versailles settlement, collective security, beginning of fascism in Italy and Nacizm in Germany, Spanish civil war, phenomenon of appeasement etc.
